OK I haven’t written one of these in a while. This newsletter is brought to you in three parts.
Part 1: ICYMI Bipolar Cowboy is out now!
Which you can buy here.
It’s truly been an honor to give this book a new home and a second life.
Part 2: Bipolar Cowboy gets reviewed.
Joseph Edwin Haeger wrote an incredibly beautiful and poignant review of Bipolar Cowboy for The Big Smoke.
Just look at some of the things he says!
You can read the full review here.
Part 3: Some relevant reflections.
It was almost exactly a year ago that I first read Bipolar Cowboy in the throes of my own fallout from a once white-hot love. And Joseph Edwin Haeger is right—there aren’t a lot of after-love stories. Not ones that read this true and casual and honest. Which is exactly why I fell for it.
It’s been a year since my breakup and so much has happened and changed and brightened.
I’ve felt a lot of happiness and heartbreak in the last year. Sometimes at the same time.
Happy that I’m finding a way back to my body and my feelings and myself. Heartbroken that I’d lost it for so long.
I was introduced to Bipolar Cowboy at the end of something. And a year later as Bipolar Cowboy makes its reintroduction, it marks the start of something for me. A new relationship. A new freedom. A new calm.
